Service Technician - Plural Component

Service and repair plural component spray equipment in the shop or in the field. May also assist with blast or paint equipment assembly and repair. Will require travel to customer sites to perform on-site repairs and maintenance.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Diagnose, rebuilt and repair paint and plural component pumps and sprayers.
Train and support customers in the operation of Marco equipment.
Service and maintain blast and paint equipment in the Marco rental fleet.
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on customer and rental fleet equipment.
Prepare and maintain records and reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Completion of high school degree and 2-5 years of related experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical background including experience with paint sprayers and pumps.
Strong understanding of fluid power, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Good communication and listening skills.
Ability to travel in excess of 50% of the time.
Ability to follow safe work practices.
Willingness to learn and participate in intense training.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
Ability to use hand and power tools, walk, type, read, lift up to 75 pounds, have good manual dexterity, be able to twist turn and perform extended reaching. Standing for extended periods of time could occur. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
