Responsibilities As an Outside Sales Account Executive with Tallgrass, you will work closely with our Sales Director to set appointments with purchasing agents using phone prospecting, face-to-face prospecting, networking, and referral partner relationships. You will then keep scheduled appointments, uncover needs and present Tallgrass solutions to close sales in our target market (B2B sales - businesses larger than 20 office workers). The successful candidate will have outstanding communications skills, a positive 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to accept ownership of a diverse range of duties. Work is Fun at Tallgrass! And that's the truth. We believe salespeople are at their best when they're happy. Pick up the phone, make the sale, and you'll be rewarded. Our training will help you guide the customer base, resolve their issues, and sell them products and services. With us, you'll earn commission on top of your base wage. It's a job that will keep you engaged and always smiling. Qualifications? If You Believe in Yourself, We Will. For this position, experience helps, but not having any isn't a deal-breaker. We do require you to have a high school diploma or GED; college experience or degree is welcome, too. Basic computer proficiency is a must. Really, to be a good representative, you need to be motivated and confident. Business to business sales is a plus.
