The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in sociology to begin August 2015. The ideal candidate will be a generalist, able to teach core courses in sociology with preference given to those who can teach Sex & Gender, Marriage & the Family, and Social Problems. The teaching load is 4-4. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, but a Ph.D. in Sociology is preferred. Review of applications will begin February 13 and continue until the position is filled.
