The Department of Chemistry at St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin in August 2015. Ph.D. with specialization in biochemistry required; ABD considered but degree must be completed by start date of appointment. This position requires ability to teach biochemistry lecture and lab for primarily chemistry and biology majors and may involve development of additional advanced biochemistry courses. The successful candidate will also teach a one semester course in general, organic and biological chemistry and/or assist with lecture and labs in our regular two-semester general chemistry sequence. Other responsibilities include mentoring undergraduate research, student advising, participation in university committees and service. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
