Cobham is looking for a talented person to serve as a Senior Contract Administrator at our Davenport, Iowa facility. The successful candidate will bring a combination of accounting, negotiation, and customer-relations skills to our dynamic team in the high-stakes field of aerospace manufacturing.
_Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:_
Prepare complex proposals and bid responses for potential and existing customers with only general direction.
Interface with customers.
Negotiate prices, terms and conditions of complex contracts.
May prepare and maintain Export Licenses/Files in accordance with corporate and ISO procedures.
Monitor program activities and changes with the Engineering and Production teams to ensure compliance to company policy and the customer contract.
Enter contract information and sales orders into computer system.
Administer complex contracts and provide information, status, and/or action reports upon request.
Review Requests for Proposal, Requests for Quote, Invitations for Bid, Specs, Statements of Work, terms and conditions, and make appropriate changes.
Organizes and maintains records of sales orders.
Creates quarterly reports regarding sales, quotation and profit activities.
May apply International Trade & Arms Regulations to our international activities.
Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles
All other related duties as assigned.
_Required
Qualifications:_
Bachelor of Business Administration degree or related field, or work-related equivalent.

years of related experience as a Contract Administrator or Contract Manager.
Knowledge in principles of accounting or finance principles.
Ability to negotiate complex agreements.
Customer relations skills.
Computer literate.
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with DOD contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Defense Acquisition Regulations.
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Ability to work with a diverse customer base.
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to work in an office or indoor industrial environment.
