The St. Ambrose University Student Success Center seeks an energetic, relationship-oriented full-time Director of Reading and Study Skills. Reporting to the Dean of Student Academic Services, responsibilities include providing developmental classroom and individual instruction in study skills. Other responsibilities include organizing, planning and implementing tutor training; creating and presenting programming on effective study skills, including reading skills, time management, test taking, organization, memory strategies, and other study skills. Primary contact and liaison with coaches and athletic team members; and advising a caseload of students. Requirements: must have a Masters Degree in Reading, Education, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills. St. Ambrose is an independent, comprehensive and Catholic diocesan university firmly grounded in the liberal arts.
