The St. Ambrose University Counseling Center seeks a 20 hour per week counselor. The ideal candidate would have the flexibility to work two, 4-5 hour day shifts and two, 4-5 hour late afternoon/evening shifts. Reporting to the Director of the Counseling Center or his/her designee, responsibilities include providing individual (personal), couples and group counseling to students, faculty and staff. Other duties would include crisis intervention, assessment and follow up services, emergency services, floor presentations and advisory responsibility to student groups or organizations. The successful candidate will have at minimum, a masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, plus two years of experience. Licensure is preferred. Position open until filled.
