Our client, a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, is seeking a Regional Program Manager to be based in the Quad Cities area.
The Opportunity
The Regional Program Manager will optimize sales performance of dealers in the region, maintain relationships within dealer guidelines and educate dealers about sales processes and programs provide after sales product follow-up and support of equipment operations.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage territory sales and promotion of product line with dealers
Accompany dealer salespersons on customer visits
Participate in and/or lead dealer customer
events
; workshops, farm shows, etc.
Help plan for and participate in strategic equipment demonstrations
Become familiar with sales processes and current/planned sales programs and communicate these to the appropriate dealer personnel
Identify prospects and assist dealer in using the information to increase sales
Utilize sales tools such as Value Calculator to demonstrate value of company products
Learn and use Salesforce CRM with dealer and customer contacts
Prepare periodic sales reports for such things as customer visits, quotes, demonstrations, lost sales, etc.
Participate in and promote central marketing activities such as corporate sponsored farm shows, training sessions, factory visits, etc.
Assist in forecasting annual sales and budgeting for future years sales
Provide support in used equipment sales
Support retail finance activities for the Financial
services
Dept.
Partner with service organization to promote programs and provide dealer training
Requirements
Bachelors degree in related field preferred
3
years experience in sales or marketing capacity
Agricultural equipment background desired
Ability to travel 75% of the time
