Newly-created opportunity within a well-established and successful Quad Cities organization for a Payroll and Benefit Manager. As the Payroll & Benefits Manager you will supervise a staff of 3 in the preparation of company payrolls. Strong analytical skills are necessary to be successful in this role! You will ensure compliance with tax filings, oversee timekeeping processes, manage 401K plans, oversee union benefit administration, and perform strategic analysis as it relates to the department. Salary range up to $100k. In order to be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelors Degree, experience with labor unions, and supervisory experience. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
