We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receiving Lead.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving operations in our warehouse.
The ideal candidate has experience in team management, warehouse operations, and logistics.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the receiving team, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt of incoming shipments - Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues or discrepancies - Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet our company standards - Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory, update stock levels, and generate reports - Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing and inventory control to ensure smooth operations - Train new team members on receiving procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment - Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to OSHA guidelines for safety Requirements:
