00 The Member Services Representative - Manager on Duty (MOD) serves as the lead Member Services Representative and is responsible for monitoring the facility for safety and cleaning concerns during evening and weekend hours and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Greet members/visitors in a warm, welcoming manner, ensure gate access is being monitored, provide informational services, direct individuals to the proper person or location, answer incoming calls, perform cash handling and process membership and program sales.
Receive and resolve member complaints according to Membership Best Practices.
Provide exceptional tours of the facility.
Walk through, monitor and check the entire facility several times throughout each shift ensuring things are running smoothly.
This includes, but is not limited to, checking the entrance and parking lot for trash (slippery walkways during winter), ensuring unsupervised/underage youth are behaving, bathrooms and locker rooms are clean, towels, soap and paper products are full, etc.
Ensure proper safety measures are in place with lifeguards at all times, i.
e.
they are scanning the pool, have proper equipment and are positioned correctly.
Able to perform closing procedures for the branch during the week and opening procedures on the weekend.
Know the emergency procedures and location of emergency equipment.
