The Assembly Technician is responsible for conducting routine and non-routine technical and diverse work on a range of life support, air-to-air refueling, and personal survival equipment systems.

In this role, you will:
Execute multifaceted tasks necessary for the construction, assembly, inspection, testing, calibration, diagnosis, analysis, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, modification, and programming of various products and product lines Construct and assemble emerging products in their developmental stage; collaborate with Engineers on prototype units, first article, developmental units, or upgrades to existing units Configure and operate a variety of metal fabricating machinery, including rolling machines, drills, and saws Utilize a diverse range of hand and power tools (such as drills, sanders, files, grinders, rivet guns, and painting equipment), jigs, fixtures, gauges, and measuring and testing devices Record and maintain comprehensive documentation of work activities for present and future reference Perform any additional related tasks as assigned When we embrace the distinct ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we -- as individuals and as an organization -- grow stronger.
Qualifications Required (Basic)
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a technical field (electrical or electrical/mechanical) or mechanical degree Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for corporate sponsorship currently or in the future This position involves access to information or hardware subject to the regulations of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Experience in a Manufacturing setting Three years of troubleshooting experience gained within the last five years Position Criteria:
Must demonstrate proficiency in areas encompassing electronics, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and hybrid combinations of these disciplines Must exhibit proficiency in mathematics relevant to the job Ability to comprehend and interpret technical and written instructions, engineering blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, including the consideration of tolerance stack-up Must possess knowledge of electronic circuitry and be capable of using electronic tools and test equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and assemblies Must be capable of fulfilling assigned duties without the assistance of specialized tooling or test equipment Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
