Behavioral Health/EDPurpose:
Interacts with patients, family members, healthcare professionals, and community and state agencies to provide varied and ongoing social work services and referrals.
This may include psychosocial evaluation, ongoing psychosocial counseling, direct casework services, community outreach and referral through collaboration with physicians, staff, families, and the community.
Serves as a liaison between the hospital and community agencies or settings for the exchange of clinical care and services.

The job requires the provision of occasional guidance and training to others.
The job does not have formal or official supervisory responsibilities.
