3 Quick Apply Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description The Operations Manager has significant accountability, impact, and influence to drive the results of a significant group of service workers to accomplish a high level of quality service and to meet annual operating budget requirements.
Ensures budgets, schedules, and standards are realistically set and met.
On a regular basis interacts with and coaches first and second-level management on the importance of meeting and exceeding expected customer satisfaction and quality results and building relationships to maximize service levels and promote company growth.
Drives improvement by challenging staff to identify opportunities for innovation and improvements.
Provide, drive, and instill a clear and consistent vision and understanding of company ethics, mission, standards, and culture.
The incumbent has the responsibility for managing significant human and financial resources with a very high degree of autonomy.
An Operations Manager is a full-time position; the work schedule and hours per week will be a minimum of 40 hours per week and may require weekends.
Operations will require day and possibly night-time attention depending on customer expectations.
The Manager is responsible for the supervision of all present and future Commercial accounts and relevant staff.
Travel up to 50% of the time Key Responsibilities and Expectations Review and evaluate that the Operational staff adheres to company policy and procedures and ensure company practices are administered in a fair and equitable manner.
Conduct site audits with customer contacts to ensure service is being performed according to specifications.
Any deficiencies discovered during visits are recorded and addressed with night staff and rectified.
Once corrected, resolved issues are communicated back to the customer.
Performs account audits to inspect account storage areas including equipment and supplies for compliance with safety standards and company policy.
(Disciplinary action when required.
) Assist in the implementation of new accounts acquired by the Marketing Team.
It will require full involvement in the start-up of the new account and the Manager must monitor the transition to ensure services are successful and according to the service agreement, budget, and customer expectations.
Develop continuous improvement plans with staff to ensure Quality Assurance Plan is being followed and maintained.
Account communication between Company and the customer is acted upon promptly with corrective action, followed up on, and documented immediately after.
Customer complaints are minimal.
Company Services are done in accordance with the Building Specifications of the customer.
Services are performed within budgeted hours and cost constraints.
Services are completed with minimal damage to company equipment and customer property.
Employee injuries and accidents are kept to a minimum.
Employee turnover is kept to a minimum.
Employee morale is constantly improving.
Participate in the renegotiation of contractual agreements.
Learn customer Building Specifications for each facility as well as necessary staffing requirements.
Direct implementation of all new/ongoing operational and employee safety training programs.
Manage but not limited to hiring and placement of employees, employee documentation, employee counseling, and termination of employment.
Review, evaluate, and ensure that all operational teams are following established inventory procedures to maintain accurate job site inventories.

Guide, instruct and assist operations with the standard process, when necessary.
Direct employee recruitment and development to meet quality service.
Keep President promptly and fully informed on all problems or unusual matters of significance; take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance.
Manager has a good understanding of Company policies and procedures and can enforce them effectively.
Employee grievances are at a minimum.
No complaints are filed with city, county, state or federal DOL & EEOC offices.
Any accidents or incidents are promptly reported and investigated in accordance with Company and customer policies.
Any other duties as assigned by President.
Education & Experiences Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus on Management in Operations 5
years of Managing experience in the Service related industry.
Proven experience in Operating & Managing companies of $5 million or more in revenue.
Special Skills General computer knowledge in a Windows-based environment plus advanced skills in Microsoft Office Strong understanding of the needs of the company Proven analytical and problem-solving capability Work well under pressure Leadership and multi-tasking abilities HR skills regarding hiring and disciplinary of employees.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform routine physical activity associated with the position.

Visual acuity to the extent that the person can see stains, streaks, trash, or similar items involving Commercial Cleaning Industry.
