The Teacher Education Program invites applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant position. The successful candidate must be energetic, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized and flexible, understand confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information, be team oriented, and enjoy working directly and frequently with students. Responsibilities include: provide primary support for the Early Childhood /Elementary Education Faculty; coordinate and supervise work-study students; and maintain a good working relationship with Teacher Education faculty, staff, and students. A primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and coordinate all operations of the Teacher Education Curriculum Library, and to assist the Director of the Clinical Reading Center with administrative duties related to the Center. The incumbent will also assist the Director of the School of Education (SOE) in coordinating research activities to further the mission of the SOE. A Bachelors degree or four years experience in area of responsibility or related area is preferred, library and technology expertise required. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
