St. Ambrose University is seeking a full-time Adjunct Instructor for Mathematics & Statistics to teach courses in introductory and advanced statistics and measurement as needed. In addition, conduct applied institutional research and analysis used to inform policy and decision-making for university offices and programs, as well as, external stakeholders. Determine data requirements, data sources and data collection methods. Design, compile, and summarize data, as well as provide reports regarding the data, using data management, reporting, and analytical tools and methods. Plan, develop, compare and coordinate publication of annual institutional, state, federal, and statistical reports. Distribute and catalog electronic copies of annual reports. Work collegially with a wide variety of internal and external constituencies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Interested individuals must possess strong oral and written communication skills, have an in-depth understanding of analytical tools and data representation software (SPSS or SAS preferred), proven analytical skills, and proficient in spreadsheet and word processing applications. Must have knowledge of higher education assessment and accreditation obligations. Minimum of a Masters degree and 3 years of related experience required, however, Doctoral degree preferred. Experience with Ellucian data enterprise products, student retention platforms, performance management and outcomes measurement software, and online form/survey building applications preferred. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
